An analysis of home scoring across last season and the current campaign, combined with the cheapest standard adult ticket identified for each club, reveals a wide gap in what Regionalliga Nord supporters get for their admission price.
A €10 ticket to watch SV Drochtersen/Assel currently buys more home goals for the money than admission at any other club in the Regionalliga Nord, according to analysis by FootyCabin.
Drochtersen have scored 75 goals across 24 home league matches in the dataset, covering the full 2025/26 season and all league matches played up to and including 6 October 2026. That works out at 3.13 goals per home match.
With the cheapest standard adult ticket identified at €10, supporters are effectively paying €3.20 for each home goal.
That puts Drochtersen ahead of VfB Oldenburg, while the difference between the top and bottom of the ranking is substantial: HSC Hannover's equivalent figure is €9.34 per home goal.
Oldenburg push Drochtersen closest
Few teams in the division can match Oldenburg's home scoring.
VfB have scored 67 goals in 22 home league matches, an average of 3.05 per game. Their cheapest full-price adult ticket identified for the current season costs €11, producing a figure of €3.61 per home goal.
Eimsbütteler TV sit third at €3.79 per goal, with SV Todesfelde fourth at €3.92 and SC Weiche Flensburg 08 completing the top five at €4.18.
The figures combine last season with the opening months of 2026/27 rather than relying on a small sample from the current campaign alone.

| 17 | Bremer SV | 24 | 35 | 1.46 | €12.00 | €8.23 |
| 18 | HSC Hannover | 23 | 32 | 1.39 | €13.00 | €9.34 |
The latest result changes one part of the ranking. Werder Bremen II lost 0-2 at home to Hannover 96 II on 6 October, meaning Werder have now played six home matches this season but remain on only two home goals in 2026/27.
Across the two-season sample, their record therefore moves from 36 goals in 22 home matches to 36 in 23. Their scoring average falls from 1.64 to 1.57 goals per home match, while their calculated cost per goal rises from €4.89 to €5.11.
That moves Hannover 96 II above Werder into seventh place.
The cheapest ticket does not guarantee the best value
The ranking becomes more revealing when ticket price and scoring output are considered together.
St Pauli II have the cheapest standard adult admission identified in the league at €7, but their 28 goals across 22 home matches produce an average of only 1.27 per game. Their resulting €5.50 per goal leaves them tenth.
Werder Bremen II provide another example. Their €8 adult standing ticket is among the cheapest in the division, but their home scoring rate has now fallen to 1.57 across the combined sample. That leaves them eighth despite the low admission price.
By contrast, Oldenburg's €11 ticket costs more upfront, but a scoring average above three goals per home match puts them second overall.
The comparison therefore measures something different from a simple list of the league's cheapest tickets: how admission price interacts with the amount of home scoring supporters have actually seen.
The two Lübeck clubs show how price changes the picture
Phönix Lübeck have produced a relatively healthy 2.05 home goals per match, but the cheapest standard adult price identified is €13. That gives them a cost of €6.34 per home goal.
VfB Lübeck have a lower ticket price at €11.50, but their scoring rate is also lower at 1.52 per home match. Their resulting €7.57 per goal places them 16th.
It illustrates why neither goals nor ticket prices alone determine the ranking.
Almost three times the cost between top and bottom
At the other end of the table, HSC Hannover have scored 32 goals across 23 home league matches in the dataset, averaging 1.39 per match.
With a €13 standard adult ticket, that equates to €9.34 per home goal.
That is almost three times Drochtersen/Assel's €3.20 figure.
Bremer SV sit just above HSC at €8.23 per goal, followed by VfB Lübeck at €7.57.
The figures should not be read as a definitive assessment of the overall matchday experience. A ticket buys more than goals: atmosphere, stadium facilities, opposition, supporter culture and the importance of individual fixtures all influence value in ways this calculation cannot measure.
But as a comparison of home attacking output relative to admission price, the difference across one division is substantial.
Methodology
The analysis covers all 18 clubs competing in the Regionalliga Nord in 2026/27 and includes league data up to and including 6 October 2026.
Home league matches and goals scored by the home team during the full 2025/26 season were combined with each club's home record during 2026/27 to 6 October.
For clubs promoted into the Regionalliga Nord for 2026/27 — Atlas Delmenhorst, SV Todesfelde and Eimsbütteler TV — their 2025/26 home league records from the division below were used. Promotion play-offs and cup fixtures were excluded.
Only goals scored by the club playing at home were counted.
The home scoring rate was calculated as:
Total home goals ÷ total home league matches
The ticket comparison uses the cheapest publicly available standard adult single-match price identified for a regular 2026/27 home league fixture. Reduced, youth, student, member, family, hospitality and season-ticket prices were excluded.
The final value measure was calculated as:
Cheapest adult ticket ÷ average home goals per match = cost per home goal
A note on ticket prices
Ticket prices can vary by fixture, seating or standing area, purchase channel and whether a ticket is bought in advance or on matchday. Some clubs also charge separate booking or service fees.
The figures in this analysis therefore represent the cheapest standard adult ticket identified during the research, rather than a guarantee that every home fixture will be available at exactly the same price. Separate service, booking and delivery charges have not been included in the comparison.
Because the 2026/27 season remains in progress, both the scoring averages and the resulting cost-per-goal ranking will continue to change as further home matches are played.
