Star Performers are players whose statistics reach an exceptional level compared with relevant players in the same competition and season. Players are only shown when they clear the required threshold, so a ranking of first place is not enough on its own and an empty list is a normal result.
Compared with every appearance of at least 60 minutes by players in the same role, in the same competition and season.
Latest round identifies an exceptional single match, not season-long quality. Only appearances of at least 60 minutes are considered, so a short substitute appearance cannot become a Star Performer.
